Discograms

Discogram is a procedure in which a needle is placed into one or many of the discs in your spine under x-ray guidance and contrast is injected into the disc itself. Following this, you may get a CT scan to see the problem more clearly. This procedure is used to help your surgeon decide whether or not surgery could be expected to help your back pain.
