Venograms

A venogram is a procedure to evaluate your veins, often to look for blood clots or in preparation for surgery. A catheter is placed into your vein, contrast is injected and pictures will be taken with x-rays. It is normal to feel a warm sensation all over and to get a metallic taste in your mouth while the contrast is injected.
